i would have liked this book a little more if aiden could have started off nicely in the beginning. but i sort of like elsa and i want to know what happens next because god damn rina kent and her plot twists omg.
would have given it 4 stars if the writing wasn't that awful

I… I don’t even know what to say… This book was absolutely terrible and I wouldn’t even recommend it to my worst enemy. Where do I even start? The sexual abuse? The bullying? The cringy quotes LMAO “My white-ish blonde hair falls in a fluffy ponytail down my back. I went out of my way by applying a bit of makeup. The mascara enhances my eyelashes and brings out my baby blue eyes. I even put on Aunt’s Nina Ricci perfume.” Oh okay Y/N! “He leans forward so his mouth hovers inches away from mine and growls. “I will destroy you.” OH MY GOD THIS CANT BE REAL “They’re the elite of the elite.” Her voice trembles, genuinely, it trembles.” ah yes the mean boys at school trope “But you’re not a Goddess, you’re Frozen.” LMFAOOO This is literally a wattpad book and it’s not worth it at all I just wasted my time reading this. Still reading the second one though

it was very interesting and intriguing especially the plot/plot twist, i liked it a lot, i couldn't put the book down. i was definitely not expecting that twist on the end in a certain way bc i had my theories but i was not expecting THAT and the cliffhanger agh- i'm literally just passing here to write this and i am going to start the next book now. (i kinda feel nostalgic in a certain way reading this bc it makes me remember devil's night, i honestly can connect their characters) elsa and aiden agh damm loved them istg- it was kinda wild but i definitely enjoyed their characters, also my girl kim is my fav istg- i love her so so so much. - "Xander Knight. Cole Nash. Ronan Astor. Aiden King. The four horsemen of RES." - "Do you know why, sweetheart?"(...) "Because you were always mine. You just didn't know it yet." - "I love kissing you." THIS MAN IS LITERALLY THE MENACE OF SOCIETY.. he's just plain careless for what he did actually should be considered as harassment. elsa's way too strong for the strength she spent on keeping up with aiden, he's literally just do what he likes and like j said, plain careless. HAHAHA.
his obsession and possessiveness on the other hand, if i were elsa, i'd slit my throat in front of him to drive him crazy because HOW COULD SHE BE OK WITH THAT AND NOT TURNING CRAZY. that motherfucker literally would kill a space if its being stepped by elsa way too much???

La cosa con este libro mejora bastante aunque sigue siendo una historia cliché. No obstante, es adictiva como el infierno. El personaje de Aiden me provoca desde rechazo hasta debilidad por él jajaja es una montaña rusa del carajo. Es la típica trama de chico malo, chica buena, pero a los que nos gusta este cliché es difícil no caer intrigada por esta historia.

Deviant King is the first book in the trilogy that features this couple, but is technically book 2 in the series. This book is Aiden King and Elsa Quinn. I have to say I don't know what magic this author uses but this bully romance was just catnip, complex and I just couldn't seem to get enough of this one here. I absolutely devoured this book here. There is LOTS of angst, just warning y'all ahead of time. But somehow this author made it work for me. And all the dramatics, I was here for it though. And I normally don't do YA settings, but I loved it here. There is a lot of confusion on why Aiden treats Elsa the way she does, and you really need to read the whole trilogy to get the background on it, but whew he is intense. I adored our heroine, she is a badass. She stands on her own and is so delightful! I love that she is a fighter, and is willing to stand up to her bullies, no matter how they demean her, she has such a strong spirit and is a fighter and just what he needs to tone him down as he has such a fierce strong personality, but frankly, blame it on his dad haha I swept through Deviant King so quickly, and it was such an addictive read. Just make sure you have books 2 and 3 handy, as it does end with a cliffhanger. But its well done, but yeah its a doozie. Just fair warning on it. I really enjoyed the friendships and I am really curioius about Xander's story for sure, there is so much history for his story I bet.
This was entertaining but only because of how unhinged all of them are. I got hooked on the plot tho so I am going to countinue
