This book could have been great, but I think that it was highly under written. It was a hard read and I skipped over a lot of the unnecessary wording. The ending was written really poorly. I do not think you should wrap up a book in only 2 pages.

This is closer to a 3.5, but still, not bad for a debut. I was really excited to read this book, but I guess my expectations were too high. I really wish some things had been explained more, like the first time Sienna and Lucas met. We only get the gist of that, and the book jumps right into them being crazy in lust with each other. And I really wanted the mother's story (view spoiler)[and the ex-wife's (hide spoiler)] to be elaborated more, but I suppose that's what the sequel is for! There was, of course, some steamy hot sex ;) I didn't fall in love with any of the characters, but Sienna was a funny heroine sometimes. I didn't like Lucas at all at first, but he started growing on me later on. There were times I wanted to roll my eyes a bit, but overall, Devoured wasn't the most amazing story ever, but still enjoyable.
