I Love this series. I just finished buying them all so I can binge right through.. I found the first book in my library right before the quarantine went into effect and liked it so much I couldn't wait for it to reopen. I had to buy the set from thriftbooks. 
I love the paranormal / detective thing going on. That we are also solving some sort of mystery/ murder that has some kind of paranormal elements that Kara can pick up on. along with her friend/ coworker Ryan who can also sense some things. 
I like that essentially she is the same person she was in the last book. She didn't get some major power jump or anything from when she was put back together by the hot demon lord.. She has had to figure some new things out especially since her Aunt is in a coma due to what happened to her in the last book. 
Im probably doing a crappy job reviewing this one, but I really liked it and will be picking the next on up as soon as possible..
