Dirty Deeds
Reviews

I voluntarily received an advance review copy of this book and chose to review it. Ugh, this book was SO close to 5 stars for me. I really, really liked it but the lack of details, important details, connecting details, totally lost it for me. This is the first of Stella’s books I’ve read, and as far as I know, this book is a stand-alone. Except it didn’t read as one. There were details with Emmett, and Julian, and Aly as well, that were never explained. What does Julian do? What does Emmett do? How are they so wealthy? How close were Emmett and Alt’s family’s? What was the deal with Aly’s father? I NEEDED to know all of this stuff but it was never explained. Another major thing that bugged me was the massive gap, and the few very important scenes we never got. Seriously, way to shortchange a girl and leave out all the good stuff! I wanted to love this book, but without the important details, I just couldn’t.
