Dirty Filthy Rich Men

Dirty Filthy Rich Men

One unexpected and wild weekend with Weston King, and I’m a new woman. He, on the other hand, is the same rich, notorious playboy he’s always been. In other words, not the commitment type. So even though we had fun those two days and nights, I moved on quickly from our horizontal time together. Or I thought I did until he offered me a job a month later at his firm in NYC. Can you blame a girl for thinking we might have a chance together? What I didn’t anticipate was Donovan Kincaid, Weston's best friend and business partner. He’s dangerous and dominant and gets under my skin in ways that no other man has. The worst part? I like it. From NYT Bestselling author Laurelin Paige, discover a whole new world filled with sex, love, power, romance and dirty, filthy rich men.

I am going to keep this one short since I don’t want to give anything away. To think that this book couldn’t get any more dirty, hot, obsessive, possessive, and downright sinful than book one, I was definitely mistaken. I loved the way this book wrapped everything up. I got a much better understanding of where Donovan was coming from and why he was and is so obsessed with Sabrina. The author did a great job at giving me closure and a better understanding of Donovan as a person and why he is so absolutely f’ed up. Overall, I liked this book a lot. I didn’t like it as much as I liked book one but it definitely gave me closure and I still love these characters even though I probably shouldn’t… 😏🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I received a copy of Need You Now, a collection from Top Shelf Romance in exchange for an honest review. This book was included in that collection. Please note that in both Dirty Filthy Rich Men and Dirty Filthy Rich Love there are very significant rape fantasy and sexual assault trigger warnings! I received a copy of Need You Now, a collection from Top Shelf Romance in exchange for an honest review. This book was included in that collection.

Honestly, this book surprised me. When I first started this book I said to myself “No! Not another one of these again. I have heard this one before!” But after really getting into the book I LOVED it. Though I wanted to strangle both Donovan and Sabrina some of the time, I also really loved both of them at the same time. Does that make sense.. Donovan is a true alpha-hole/anti-hero, bad boy and I am sure anyone’s dream to tame. I think I just LOVE ruthless, delicious, alpha males and Donavan checks all the boxes 🙌🏻 What can I tell you? Sabrina, boy oh boy, did I want to just shake her into opening her eyes. She was naive, confused, strong, and resilient. I don’t know how she did it sometimes, I would like to say that I would have walked out on Donovan with the way he treated Sabrina. But I think I would have been in the same position that she was in. As for Warren, Donovan’s best friend and Sabrina’s first love interest, I found him to really be just a light blip on my radar. I suppose that this is supposed to be a love triangle in the beginning but I’m not really drawn into it that way. I just see Warren as a light plot device that helps move the story along. I don’t think Warren and Sabrina’s “relationship” was that much of a love triangle, it surely didn’t feel that way for me. Other than that I loved Warren‘s character, I thought he was a great best friend/love interest. Overall, I really enjoyed this book a lot. To me it felt like something fresh and new. Their relationship is definitely unique and unlike others that I’ve read before. It was a great story, well thought out, it kept me engaged and on my toes. If you’re looking for a back and forth, enemies to lovers, hot steamy romance, that leaves you hot and bothered 🤤🤤 then this is the book for you! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I received a copy of Need You Now, a collection from Top Shelf Romance in exchange for an honest review. This book was included in that collection.

So I thought there would be a massive groveling but sadly this made me hope up for nothing. I just want her to not talk to him for a week and him crawling back to get her attention

Originally posted at Booklovers For Life O.M.G. It seems like every time I read a Laurelin Paige book, I always end up shocked and turned on simultaneously. Laurelin knows how to write seriously dirty, filthy books (hence, the title) and I wasn’t disappointed with this one. It’s the first book in a duet series, and I’m literally salivating for the conclusion already. I loved Sabrina and Donovan’s story – it was insanely hot (holy crap was this book was ON FIRE), addicting, and seductive. If you love your dirty reads with alpha males, you need to get your hands on this book! Plus, there’s a prequel novella that’s out for free! They were both standing in front of me now, staring at me. Weston to my right, Donovan to my left, like a real life game of This or That, and of course the choice was This. It was the only choice. Practically. For my sanity. The other one wasn’t even an actual option. And yet my body pulled traitorously toward That. Ten years ago, when Sabrina Lind was in her first year at Harvard on scholarship, she had a crush on Weston King, trust fund baby and playboy charmer. But as attractive as Weston was, he had nothing on the visceral effect that Donovan Kincaid had on Sabrina. He was the TA of her ethics class, her savior and dirty fantasy. But he ended up breaking her heart right before she had to withdraw from school, and Sabrina never expected to see either gorgeous men for the rest of her life. But life is full of endless surprises, because she not only runs into Weston, she is offered a job at his company… which is also owned by Donovan. “I don’t want you to touch me like Weston,” I said, once and for all. “I don’t want Weston! I want you!” Donovan let loose the smallest hint of a smile. “I know. I was waiting for you to know too.” As Sabrina is thrust once again into the world of dirty, filthy rich men, she has to decide whether she’ll give her heart over to the man who awakens her deepest fantasies but leaves her feeling heartbroken from his cold demeanor. The push and pull from Donovan is as intense and erotic as it is frustrating, but Laurelin Paige writes it in a way that has you wanting to slap the man while hugging him close. He has a brick wall around his heart, and only Sabrina can break through, but will he allow himself to be vulnerable to let her? This intoxicating read left me breathless and aching for more. Laurelin Paige is so talented at writing erotic romances – I couldn’t get enough of Sabrina and Donovan’s addicting story. I highly recommend this book for erotic romance lovers and fascinating characters you feel so much for. I’m dying for the next book now! Originally posted at Booklovers For Life I have been WAITING for this sequel ever since finishing Dirty Filthy Rich Men. After the cliffhanger from the first book, I absolutely needed to get my hands on this finale, and I’m so happy to say that Dirty Filthy Rich Love was the perfect conclusion to Sabrina and Donovan’s story. It’s erotic, passionate, emotional, intense, addicting – I felt so much while reading this heart-pounding book. If you haven’t read Dirty Filthy Rich Men, stop right here and start reading the wild ride that is that book. You will definitely need to read it before starting Dirty Filthy Rich Love, as Sabrina and Donovan’s story is told through both books. Now, if you have read the first book, get ready to see Sabrina and Donovan overcome the biggest challenges to their relationship – and see Donovan proving his love to Sabrina. Donovan was not an easy person to interact with, but I wasn’t a cakewalk either. I had my own issues. I was too proud. Too serious. And I had a borderline unhealthy comfort level with the kind of sex I liked. We were both works in progress. I needed to be better about remembering that. Now that Donovan’s secret is out, Sabrina needs to decide whether that secret will make or break their relationship. Going into this book, I was worried about Donovan and I thought he would continue to push Sabrina away. Thankfully, Donovan gets his head out of his ass in time and changes the dynamics of their relationship to something that includes honestly and love. He knows what he has with Sabrina and this time, he’s not about to make a mess of their relationship. He sets out to win the heart of the woman who has owned his for a very long time. “You wanted to know what you are.” “Okay.” “What you are is mine.” I LOVE Sabrina so much – she’s tough, unapologetic about who she is, and all-around an amazing, admirable woman. She definitely doesn’t make it easy for Donovan while he apologizes and proves he’s in it for the long haul. She demands complete honesty and open communication from him – which Donovan may struggle with time to time, but he tries, for her. I loved how much they grow throughout this book and this series. Their relationship truly shines in this novel. “You’re such a dirty girl.” His tone was filled with mischief. He reached his hand out toward me. “And you’re such a filthy man.” I put my hand in his, and it fit, exactly. “I guess we’re perfect together.” Dirty Filthy Rich Love is dirty and filthy, no doubt, but it was also beautiful in the way it was told. I love Laurelin Paige’s writing so much. Her stories are always deeply erotic and romantic. I loved reading Donovan and Sabrina’s story and am sad to see it end. But I’m desperately hoping that Laurelin Paige will be writing books for all of Donovan’s business partners – she can’t leave us hanging like this!
