DMZ Colony

I read this with a dictionary and a search engine in hand. This made for slow reading, but it really deepened my understanding of the book. I was really taken by the way Choi was able to link everything together. The poems were often in conversation with the epigraphs, as well as earlier poems in the collection (and I noticed a few references to Hardly War). I found this collection really brilliant and moving.
