A simple biography of Mack Sennet, the director whose silent films immortalized such slapstick clowns as the Keystone Kops, Charlie Chaplin, Fatty Arbuckle, Mabel Normand, and Ben Turpin, traces his career from his work with the Biograph picture company to the creation of his own film company where he became known as The King of Comedy.
