Don Juan Comedy in Five Acts, 1665

interesting… BUT moliere’s intentions were very confusing.. was he trying to criticize and attack atheism or defend and normalize it…?

why did a character like don juan, an annoying unfair womanizing murderer, appear noble at times and share moliere’s ideas (criticizng doctors)? why is a character like sganarelle superstitious and delusional but also very kind and vivtimized..?

im confused… but the story was fun anf the ending was… original

*Read for class. What a horrible person! But I did like the play itself, much better than Calderon, that's for sure. I know they're different genres, but still.
