I knew nothing about Audrey Hepburn before listening to this biography, and I am thrilled to have learned more about this remarkable woman, so full of grace, a child survivor of Nazi-occupied Holland. I only gave it three stars because, while the beginning was fascinating, the author goes into an incredible amount of detail about each film Hepburn performed in. He becomes redundant at times, and often lost me on tangents about Hepburn's contemporaries. If I wouldn't have been on a long car trip with nothing else to do, I may have abandoned the book. I'm glad I finished it though, if for no other reason than to know I saw it through, and am looking forward to catching up on some of her better films.
