I wanted this book to be more fun than it was. It’s so forgettable I can’t even tell anyone what happened in it. The things I remember most are: 1. most of the characters could have been cut from the narrative, 2. it tried very hard to be kink/sex positive but somehow still came off as kink shaming, and 3. it could have been like 300 pages shorter.

I was a little disappointed with this. It was a good book but after reading the 1st chapter, I thought that was how the whole book would be but honestly it took a while to get into it. I didn’t really love the writing over all but it was a good read.
