Review: This town continues to captivate me. In book three of this series we hear the sweet love story of Rory and Oaklee. These two have had their hearts, not just broken but crushed and both of them are extremely vulnerable and have a commitment phobia. This phobia keeps them going back and forth between hot hot heat for each other and cold distance. The tension between them makes for a good love story. Oaklee has had a crush on Rory since she was a little girl. Rory was/is her brother Cam's ( a famous hockey player these days) best friend growing up and Oaklee followed them around whenever she could. I love the animal part of the story, I am a dog lover and I appreciate a book that features a dog in it. This was a sweet story with two characters that have to learn how to love again and heal their hearts. I love a story where characters get a second chance at deep love. I am hoping that there will be more books in this series, I am not quite ready to leave Darling, VT !This review was originally posted on Cindy's Book Binge
This was definitely my favourite. I don't think the characters were my favourites but the story definitely was. It was sweet and hurt my heart a little but mostly god me with the cuteness.
