Medieval England with a magical twists.  A witch trying to avoid her fate and a Knight attempting to make up for a past sin.

Serena is living under the protection of an old friend of Drogan.  She's a witch with incredible seer powers but they come at a cost.  Drogan and Gerard are both making up for past sins.  But Gerard's new family is now in danger from their old enemy and Drogan and Serena need to help them to safety. 

I really like this mix of historical romance and paranormal/magical mystery.  Trying to unwind the twists of the plot, how Serena's curse came to be, and determining just what Gerard and Drogan had done/not done in their past. 

Drogan and Serena's initial attraction flowers as they traipse across the country trying to dodge their foes and Serena has to make some big decisions about her future.  There are some intimate scenes but they aren't over the top, numerous or too graphic
