Ryder and Kinsey are the next couple in Donna Grant's next novel in the Dark Kings series. Both of them have a shared past and things didn't end well when Ryder left her a few years ago. But due to dangerous circumstances, they are brought together again when he saves her from the dark fae.

For me, their relationship was not too much of a draw as Ryder was always on the fence on whether to trust her or not. The same went for Kinsey since she recently discovers that he is a dragon and is scared. However, I do like that the previous couples make an appearance. The women then try to ease her concerns.

I felt more and more curious in the book about what will happen with Rhi. I am eagerly waiting for the time her story comes out since almost every book of the series, we have a glimpse of her journey. I do recommend this book for fans of Donna Grant and also the Dark Kings series.
