I wanted to like this book a lot, but the constant trans & neurodiversity slurs made it incredibly unpleasant. The reviews on the cover hailed it as radical, but you know what would be radical? Not being a shit to people. I know, I know, it wasn't the author, it was the character... but fuck that noise. I hope she's learned that it's not fucking edgy to be a dick.
