"This book reprints the 1930 and the 1936 exhibition catalogues based on archival copies in the Museum's Art [Toledo Museum of Art] Reference Library. The two paperbound catalogues were somewhat different in size; they have been photographically adjusted to a trim size of six by nine inches. A new title page has been added and this brief forward.
