Dorothy Must Die Stories Volume 1

I really liked the backstory of Dorothy and the wizard. I felt like the backstory for Jellia was a little unnecessary but it was still pretty good. Overall, quick reads that kept me entertained.

The first (pre sequel) book works with the pov of three different characters in each volume. 

First up is Dorothy and her birthday party what went down in ashes, turning into an adventure back to Oz. Her uncle and aunt stucked with her, and both of them nagging her to find a way back to Kansas. Dorothy finally meets up with her old crew and decids to help and push Ozam, Oz's newest Ruler, down from her throne. 

The second volume works with a young girl who was the head maid of Ozma. Glinda, the Good witches decids to take her away from Dorothy, the brand new Ruler of Oz, for a whole summer and makes Jellia, her maid. As the things are escalating, the time is flying and it's time to return Jellia back to Dorothy. But before Glinda and the Scarecrow could take her back, Jellia, cause of her injuries, can't take the trip with them so they leave her on an open field. 

Later on, Jellia finds herself with a group of people whom are planning on taking Dorothy down of the throne. 

The third volume is written from the Wizard of Oz's point of view, where he looses consciousness and also his memories. When someone's finds him, he can't remember a single thing nor about himself, nor about what he had done in his life. He and the mysterious figure, decids to go to the ruler of fairies to ask him if he could bring back his memories. The Ruler of Fairies accomplishes his wish but also makes a deal with him. The Wizard of Oz has to take back something what he had gifted away what wasn't his, and now he has to take those things back.
