*Grabby hands* I need to read book 3 as soon as humanly possible, talk about being left on a cliffhanger!! I'm seething and also running off such an emotional high I don't know how to describe the ups and downs I went through in those last couple of chapters! I will say this story has only gotten better imo and considering how much I enjoyed the first book I think that says a lot! The ending had me wanting to hurl the book across the room, and I hope a certain character gets whatever is coming to them in the last book (just realizing I'm now on the last book, I don't want this series to end). 

Packard, deep down I knew you would be the character I would love most once we started getting more backstory, and I'm glad I was right about him early on. Give me a misunderstood and complex hero and I'll fall every time! My poor baby, he's been through so much at such a young age and then had been imprisoned for the last 8years. He truly deserves nothing but love. This book series is such a mind fuck it constantly makes you second guess yourself. The storylines themselves are unique and constantly surprising in what direction things could go.

A few people in the group ie. Packard, Simon, and Justine begin to question if one of Otto's captives 
a women named Ez with the ability to control people through their dreams, might not be who they think she is. Not to mention there are killers on the loose who are able to detect Highcaps and are on a murder spree. I will say I was slightly disappointed by some of the missed opportunities of Justine and Packard getting dream linked by Ez, those could've been some fun scenes! Instead, the dream link took a more serious approach that connects to the past. I did however like the way it was done getting fragments from an important event in Packard and Otto's childhood. All in all highly enjoyable and addictive read. Anyone who likes complex characters, superheroes/ antiheroes, urban fantasies, mystery, humor, heartbreaking scenes, and romance I would recommend this series.
