"Down a Dark Hall" is the most exceptional thriller I've ever read! And I hope that it doesn't seem too exaggerated, but honestly, that was the best way of describing it. The plot is absolutely AMAZING, the characters have so much personality and the situations...are unreal. 
A dark boarding school and this terrifies all of you. You know how to describe that place in just one word: MALEFIC. A school with only 4 students and 3 teachers. How can it be possible? The first thing that the girls should have been alarmed by is the outside locks of their rooms. But surely, everything is going to be just fine. But what does it mean that song that Kit has always in her head, the poetry that knocks Sandy's mind, the maths techniques that suddenly are Ruth's or Lynda's paintings? Some of the girls are just the opposite of a talent in those departments, but the art is art though, right? 
Strange things happen between Blackwood's closed doors and dark clues will be found out eventually. Only a phone in the whole school, in the principal Duret's office, and no internet at all. Just letters, but neither of them arrives to their recipients. They're just on their own. This is the game of survival and the ancestors will definitely have a word in this plan.
