Not the worst thing I've ever read, but having come directly from reading Dracula, this is a biiiig shift. Preestablished characters are far from their original natures. New characters read like teen drama vampires. It's... it's not the worst thing I've ever read, but it's definitely not worth finishing for me. There's better vampire fiction out there that ties itself to Dracula characters.
