Livia, let me ask you some things, ok? I understand you spent the first 11 years of your life in not-formally-called-slavery-but-totally-was, and I understand this may have had a lasting impact on your self-esteem. But when you're the only person in the world who's been trained to do and CAN do this highly dangerous thing in order to keep your country & that annoyingly cardboard guy you love safe, maybe in 8 years you could've grown emotionally? Even a little bit?? Even YOU aren't considered to be a citizen by them, as they keep dangling the offer of citizenship papers to you in order to compel you to do shit for them? While not even training you in other, very necessary spycraft skills? Why is your country #1 on your loyalty list instead of, oh I don't know, the professor that looked after you & trained you to do what you do, or your cardboard love interest whom you've known for years?
