Death, destruction, and finally a HEA 3.75 stars Reviewing the story as a whole. I waited to leave a review until I read the final book. Beth and Carter’s story spans over years and in the beginning it is heartbreaking. Heartbreak everywhere. I wondered at times would they survive? They do, but damn. What I do know that ultimately it was worth it. In the final book, it was great seeing Beth grow, be free, and become a woman who lives on her terms and finds her forever family. Seeing Beth and Carter grow in that love and have a HEA was satisfying. Now, my issues that I encountered in all the books were the spelling errors and at times missing words. It drives me crazy especially when there are editors and I believe proof readers that are going over the story. Also, a reveal or mix up of a supporting character’s name and the role she played. One name is used in a chapter when Carter wouldn’t have known her by that name and proof of that happens at the big reveal. There were some things that were touched on in book 1 and 2 and not utilized and then some out of left field stuff that had me going, huh? Yet, still a great read because it gave me all the feels!
