A very easy-to-read book that I surprisingly enjoyed reading. Having a teenage narrator is always a fresh perspective and this book took me to a trip down the memory lane. So many characters at the same time, though. Make sure you remember each one or else you’ll get lost.

Seriously one of the funniest books I've ever read. Ruby Oliver is witty, hilarious and one of the most REAL characters I've ever come across. If you love funny, then you'll love this book. No doubt.

this was soo cute! loved Ruby and loved her little look into life as a sixteen year old girl (aka the hardest thing in the world). also a nod to normalizing therapy in teenagers!! i think this would be perfect for young, teenage girls.

An old time favourite of mine (the whole series). I read this about 10 years ago, but I still pick it up from time to time when I want something familiar and "light banter-y romance" to read.

The whole series taught me a lot. It helped me identify my anxiety, panic attacks, toxic friendships... It wasn't all that predictable and seemed to have the small twist and turns that life hands you, which made it relatable.

по-моему, это очень терапевтическая книжка - что неудивительно, потому что это беседы героини с психотерапевтом (нет, никакой дичи - наоборот, здоровая рефлексия). я бы сказала, что читать надо всем девочкам-подросткам, и к внутренним девочкам-подросткам это тоже относится. я как-то очень отчетливо вспомнила, как же хреново жить, когда тебе пятнадцать, и мальчики все такие гоблины, и ведут себя как мудаки, а ты никак не можешь понять - это так и надо? это вот так жизнь устроена? или со мной лично что-то не так?

(немногие мальчики, впрочем, перерастают гоблинство и к 30, и к 40, но там хотя бы проще понять, что дело не в тебе)
