Like the first book it was amazing!!! I loved the chemistry between Declan and Callie and how they are made for each other. I just would have hoped, like in the first book, that there would be more drama with ****spoiler-alarm**** Beth, the manager of Declan. It was just a mini spoil šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ Okay, so this book was great pls read it!!

This review was originally posted on Addicted To Romance Easy Melody is a story that takes us back to New Orleans and this sexy family and a sizzling story where music is the heart.... I truly had a blast with Easy Melody and it was a bit different than the previous books which I really had a blast with. I truly liked how compatible these key players are with each other so without further ado...let's talk!! Callie Mills, our lovely heroine, has just lost her father and has come from Washington State to New Orleans to decided what to do what the bar he ran and whether she wants to stay in New Orleans and the man that makes her feel alive Declan Boudreaux is musically talented in every real way, his heart is music, and very successful in everything he does. Declan is a bit of a playboy, never does serious relationships until now. Easy Melody was one of those stories that started out a bit slow I will be honest. I did take a little while for me to get fully into it but once I was into it I just didn't want to put this story away!! NOPE, I just wanted to keep listening all day to this off the charts sensual romance that made me laugh out loud and grin like some silly person. And seriously once this book was done I just wanted to do a dance in the streets. That is how good it was. Your love is like a song, and our song is an easy melody that plays, over and over, in my heart. Some days it's slow and sweet, and other days it's fast and loud, but it's always love. Itā€™s my favorite song What made the biggest impression on me for this book, was the relationship that develops between Declan and Callie. Both of them are so in tune with each other they just don't fully realize it at the beginning of their "courtship". At first, they just have great chemistry and once they get to the bedroom, there is enough heat it will fog up your winter windows. But they also just constantly have the easiest time together just having "fun". They truly just enjoy keeping each other company and their relationship may be pretty high off the charts sexually, but they also form a wonderful friendship that is so endearing. I just wished that these two were real because they are "friend" material. I love how dedicated they are and true to themselves in the simple moments. Sheā€™s still sleeping. Sheā€™s warm and sweet, and snores like a lumberjack. Bless her heart. And boy does this hero know how to date a woman. Once he decides that he wants to pursue Callie for REAL....he goes all out and so creative too. From Netflix and Cereal dates to a Saints football game (and yes our heroine LOVES football) and even more treating her to a Seahawks game in Seattle and meeting up with his musical friends in Seattle. Which also meets we get introduced to some kick ass and simply lively characters from her other series. And boy I love it when an author does crossovers in series and oh my...I just want to pick this series up NOW because they were so fun. :) What was so refreshing about this story was the "romance". There is such a strong focus on their relationship, seeing them being so "normal". Going on dates, laughing and being quirky together and having such warm moments build between them and a bit of drama but truly I loved the drama at the end. I had no issues with it because it's so REAL. You could totally see this "misunderstanding" happening in real life for us mortals and I truly love this about Kristen Proby's writing. Is that these circumstances that build, are so realistic and as a reader, you can relate so easily. ā€œI want to talk with you, learn you, lose myself in you. All of those things. And I donā€™t have any experience in that shit, but damn it, I want it with you. Because those little things, Callie? The talking as I walk you to your car, or laughing with you as we demo my house? Eating pizza on the porch? They arenā€™t little things to me. Iā€™ve never done that with any other woman that Iā€™m not related to by blood. I never wanted to. ā€œUntil you, and itā€™s confused the hell out of me. All I want is a chance to start this over with you. We did it all backwards, and thatā€™s on me. I get it. But damn it, let me try it again, because if you donā€™t, itā€™ll be the biggest regret of my life.ā€ We see some real moments with the family and boy the more I read this series the more I am falling in love with this family even more, from the bantering, to the ways they support each other no matter what happens and I love the way that just accepted Callie as a part of their lives. So keep your hats because this book will make you want to learn to "adjust your sails" The narration for this book is STELLAR AWESOME!! Like honestly there is something about this pair that just wants to keep you listening all day. Sebastian York is one of the most talented male narrators you could ever listen to. His voice is beyond sexy and gives you the tingles. And Rachel Fulginiti is simply so easy to listen to, her voice is so pretty and real does the character's inner voice so well and how she displays emotion and humor is wonderful. You will get a kick out this pair doing this narration together. A truly heartwarming romance that will make you laugh, cry and everything between!! I can't wait for more. [foogallery id="47403"]

This review was originally posted on Addicted To Romance Easy Kisses is a sweet and deeply emotionally riveting romance that takes its readers back to New Orleans with a sexy brit and a southern gal who discover what true love is really all about... Easy Kisses was such a fantastic addition to this wonderful series and a bit different. What I have really admired about this series is how unique each book is to the sibling of the Boudreaux family. And this story takes some unique elements and implements a warm endearing love story. Simon Danbury, an English Brit, has become famous for his inspirational retreats for women especially in his talent of building of women's self-esteem and learning to rise above challenges. Simon is hardworking, driven, and loves people. He understands what it means to be hurt by others and strives to help others rise above abusive relationships. He has a great sense of humor and is thoughtful and romantic. SUPER SWOONY!!! Charly Boudreaux is one of the infamous Boudreaux family, she wanted her own place and set up a shop of shoes and dreams of expansion. But she has her own struggles and is emotionally in a tough spot. Charly is spunky, outspoken, but loving and supportive. She is driven and determined but craves love and commitment like her siblings have discovered and what her parents had together. I personally think a lot of us feel ashamed when we try so hard to help someone, only to have that help thrown back in our face or ignored altogether, and we are doing ourselves such a disservice in feeling that way. Itā€™s important to speak up, and to talk to those closest to you so they can help you. No one who loves you will stand for you being manipulated or hurt, and you should not be ashamed to talk about it. THIS is the BEST book of the series or what I have read from Kristen Proby so far....HOT DANG,,, this book was beyond dreamy and I just wanted to sigh in so many moments because this book is the epitome of why I read a romance. There is hardly any angst, which I really liked. Of course, Proby has to put in some kind of conflict toward the end because no relationship is perfect right? But what I loved about this book is how easy this book starts off and the relationship between Simon and Charly. Charly has been coerced by her sister, to join this women's retreat in Montana. A completely different atmosphere, with mountains and hiking and bears. At first, she hates that she agreed to do this retreat but she soon realizes how good it is for her and how she needs some emotional and mental TLC. Charly works so hard with her business and needs this break and even though it forces her to face up to her past and what she really wants in life especially in the future with a man, she also comes to terms with who she is and where she wants to go on an emotional level. Then she meets Simon Danbury.  Simon is a British motivational speaker for women (AWESOME!!) Truly, this man is beyond sexy because I love how kind and thoughtful he is. There is truly nothing wrong with Simon, except for the fact that he has some unresolved issues with his ex who really really hurt him. But I love how he is with women and how he views them and really he practically worships women and so cool. I love how respectful he is of them. Now he has a strong chemistry with Charly but knows that there is no future for them, and he refuses to give into temptation and compromise his values of these "women retreats" because he wants women to feel safe. But Charly is more than eager to get into his bed and the chemistry between them is off the charts. They seriously love being together physically and Charly starts to realize that Simon gives her what she has craved for years. The fact that I havenā€™t been with a man in forever is of no consequence. I want this man. Right now. But then they go their separate ways until Simon realizes how happy he was with the short time that he and Charly were together and wants more because he knows that what they have is real and wants to explore it. So while working on his projects, he settles in New Orleans for a short time. Charly and Simon begin to "date" and really court each other. And of course, we have the Boudreaux brothers go all "protective" and make sure that Simon really cares for Charly. Which is pretty hilarious, because in some ways, men have not changed over the centuries hehe There was such a normalcy to this story like honestly, you could see this book happening in real life....that is how real this story felt. Because the way they connect and date each other is so endearing and you can relate so well to it. But we also have two characters that are a bit flawed at times, and make mistakes. There is great personal growth for both these two individually and it was great to see them work though their own mistakes and become stronger together. Youā€™re stuck with me, love Overall I found Easy Kisses a truly endearing and profound story that will make you grin like a Cheshire kitty.....Kristen Proby has outdone herself with this treasure!! Originally posted at Booklovers For Life AUDIOBOOK REVIEW Sebastian York is probably my favorite male narrator ever, so every time I listen to an audiobook he narrates, I know Iā€™ll enjoy myself. His and Rachel Fulginitiā€™s narrations were fantastic in Easy Melody, easy to listen to and distinguishable between dialogues, so I had a great time with this audiobook. Kristen Probyā€™s story is sweet and sexy, so overall Easy Melody is a well-rounded audiobook that I highly recommend! Callie Mills has come back to New Orleans, a place she never wanted to return to, in order to take care of the bar her late father left her. The Odyssey is pretty much in shambles, but Callie isnā€™t one to easily give up and soon enough turns the bar into something much more successful. But she never could have done it without tall, dark, and handsome Declan Boudreaux. Declan is a musician whose skills and fame help Callie attract customers to The Odyssey. But Declan also has skills in the bedroom, and heā€™s determined to get the sexy bartender to go out with him. Callie doesnā€™t give in easily, since Declan has a bit of a reputation, but the sparks between them canā€™t be ignored and the chemistry between them grows hotter than ever when they fall into bed. What I loved most about Callie and Declanā€™s relationship was the way they also built a friendship along with their intimate relationship. They really got to know each other as they fell in love, so I wasnā€™t bothered by the insta-lust. Kristen Probyā€™s books are always perfectly sexy and sweet, with charming heroes and strong, independent heroines. If youā€™re looking for a romance thatā€™s light-hearted, sexy, and fun, I definitely recommend Easy Melody, especially since the narrators are amazing as well!
