Some poems were beautiful and really hit home. Some kind of left a bad taste in my mouth because they sounded either really possessive or were just kinda...meh. However, I do know that I will be holding onto this forever since it was a gift from a very dear friend of mine. The poems that I liked, I REALLY liked. But this definitely wasn’t a new favorite.

Just... oof. Yikes. Can't believe I wasted a few minutes of my life reading this. Can it even be called poetry? Just... no.

i don't want to be the person who opens up the debate about what should and should not be poetry, because i don't think i am the one to say, but most of this didn't feel like poetry to me,

I did love some of the things he wrote, I think they are beautiful, but in my opinion, they would work better as stanzas of larger poems, and not just poems on their own. I mean, can a 1 line sentence be considered a poem?

Okay

So first of all if I could rate the ebook formatting it would get 1 Star (if that). It was extremely hard to read because poems would be started on one page and then maybe go to the next but the poem would be in the middle of the page. And none of them had titles so you didn’t know if it was a complete thought or tied to another. This really took away from reading the book. Once I got over that, the poems were just okay. A lot of them were just basic cliche thoughts that anyone has had about someone they love, but it doesn’t mean it should go in a book. I found a few poems that i liked but i wasn’t wowed by anything-at all.
