Elemental Fae Academy Book One
Reviews

I give this overall book 2.7 stars. I had read this book last year and completely forgot what it was about. Rereading this again, I remember that I did not like this book enough to read any more in the series. The beginning of the book started off as 3 stars. I was intrigued with Claire and I liked the instant feelings Claire had for her men and enjoyed watching her experience going from a 'human' to a halfling. However, this book did not develop as much as I would like, particularly the plot, which became boring and inconsistent. The theme of a magical academy where the main female character realizes she is not human is so overdone to the point that originality is key. As a result, the basic plot and character cliches were not enough to sustain this book and make me want to read on. I had actually stopped halfway this time instead of reading on to the end.
