2.5/5 I pick it up because I love age-gap romances, and here it’s a 22 years age gap, so I obviously needed to read that. There is a best friends father trope, boss and intern and secret relationship too. I love N.R. Walker romances, because usually they are cute and fluffy, without any toxicity, so i knew I will probably like it. I know it’s only the first book which ends in HFN, but the story lacks some flavor for me. I thought that if this is a three books series, there will be a slow burn, but no. It’s a book heavy on a romance, not on a plot and the relationship between Tom and Cooper develops quiet quickly. They are cute, but it was just boring. "His whole face lit up. “Really? You’d take me and show me?” I would. I was starting to think I’d take him anywhere, show him anything, to see him smile like that. I nodded. “Yes.” There is a lot time jumps and I usually don’t particularly like it. Here even at the beginning when Tom found out and saw that Cooper will be working as an intern for him, he just introduced to him and then there was two weeks later. I hate when it happens. I like it, but I don’t know if I will continue it. Maybe. We will see.

SO CUTE. I love Tom and Cooper and the banter and Tom’s salt and pepper hair.
