A Duel With The Vampire Lord Married to Magic #3
Reviews

I liked this story and the love story between the main characters more than those in A Dance with the Fae Prince. Honestly, the romance is what held this book together for me, because it was poorly written in parts and other times Kova wrote her characters to be either blind or just dumb which was extremely frustrating. Any reader can see the twists from a mile away but the someone forgot to tell the people in this novel. The dream sequences were also handled sloppily tbh. It was still entertaining because again, I liked the romance enough to bump it a half star. A decent way to spend a few nights.

honestly, surprising!
slow beginning with a fast build to the main conflict resolution that had me wondering what could happen next in the best way. the romance was great at its best but frustrating at its worst… however it made up for itself as all elise kova books (at least in the married to magic series) always do.
it had a good balance between the steamy romance and the gritty action so i wasn’t often drifting from the page.
