The ending!!! I can not wait to move onto the next one!!

** spoiler alert ** OH MY GOD! I absolutely loved this book! It's been a while since I read a book about wolves that just completely consumed me, this is it. This story follows Ayla, a half human-half wolf girl product of an affair her father had. She is raised as an outcast in her pack. Ayla soon learns that there is more to just the Zodiac signs packs she's grown up with. I loved the distribution of the packs based off of the signs and the attributes/powers for each sign, it really correlated with the traits of each zodiac. Ayla's character development is steady, I loved her growth as she separated herself from her pack and learned the new ways of the misfit pack. The side characters were so relevant in the story, they were essential to Ayla's growth. Kaden, he is a young alpha but he is wise. I loved his character, so selfless. His patience with his pack has lead him to be the leader he is. Note there are spicy scenes in this book, but wow, perfectly written. I loved the flow of the Ayla and Kaden's connection. I am a sucker for a good enemies to lovers trope. Of course there are villains in this story, Ayla being rejected by her mate in the beginning of the book was absolutely heartbreaking but at the same time it helped her grow. Her mate Jordan is not my favorite but of course it's because he is coming between Ayla and Kaden... these two must end up together! The ending definitely left me wanting more! I cant wait to see what happens next! Thank you so much to the author for gifting me a copy of this book, looking forward to more of the Zodiac Wolves!

MOON TOUCHED is one of my favorite shifter romances to date! With its unique world-building, kick-ass protagonist and sexy storytelling, I was swept away from the very first pages. But let me tell you a little bit more about it. The story follows Ayla, a young shifter of the Cancer wolf pack. Ayla’s life sucks. She is the alpha’s daughter, but because her mother was human, Ayla suffers not only the scorn and diffidence of her pack members, but also her father’s. Her only chance at a better life rests in finding her fated mate and starting anew. Unfortunately for her, her mate is revealed to be a member of the Leo pack—one of their worst enemies—and he rejects her. In running away from the bloodshed that ensues, Ayla runs into even more trouble when she taken by the Lost Pack and their handsome and mysterious alpha, who offers her the one thing she can’t turn away from: revenge. What will happen next? Well, you’ll have to read the book to find out! The rejected mate trope was a novelty for me. I know it’s common in shifter romances, but I’m just getting started with this genre so be patient with me! I found it to be quite interesting, and it gave me the right amount of curiosity and frustration…mostly because my BS senses are tingling and I have theories. As I mentioned before, I was a big fan of the world-building. As a lover of all things celestial, I adored the idea of star signs being incorporated into the pack lore. Each pack has their own unique set of gifts based on their sign that sets them apart from others. Also in this, however, Ayla is different from her pack members as she doesn’t possess the Cancer abilities, which leaves room to a whole lot of speculation on my part. I absolutely adored this character! Despite the beatings and humiliations she faces, she remains a headstrong woman who doesn’t cow before difficulties or abuses, and that made me love her from the get go! I couldn’t help feeling protective of her and wishing all the best for her. All the best being Kaden, who is not her mate...*insert narrowing eyes here* He’s not her mate. I still feel like we don’t know a lot about Kaden, but I’m very much intrigued to know more. I love him as an alpha for the Lost Pack. You could definitely see how much he cared for the well-being and safety of his pack members, and that obviously extended to Alya as the story progresses. Their scenes together were full of banter and spicy sexual tension! I do wish we had gotten a tad bit more on the romance department because I felt some changes were coming a bit too quickly…but we’ll see. Again, I have theories! If you’re a fan of paranormal romance and sexy werewolves, check out this book! I cannot wait for the sequel to fall into my hands soon because the cliffhanger has me screaming! Thank you to the author for gifting me a copy to review. All opinions are my own.

*Actual Rating: 3.5 Even though this very much reads like most wolf shifter romance with heavy wattpad vibes, it was fun and quick to read. Its not the best written book out there and the pacing is meh but I am pretty much a sucker for anything with wolf shifters and this wasn't bad so I most likely with continue the series. If you like wolf shifters, fated mates/rejected mates, zodiac signs/astrology, magic/powers, and enemies to lovers, you might like this.

Different This was different from what I read read right now is t was fast paced but to be honest I just want to know what is going on

If you like fantasy books with some smut you should take a look at this book 🌸received this book as an ARC to write a honest review about the book🌸 📚Book Review📚 Moon touched by Elisabeth Briggs Rating: 4,5🌟 Writing: my first book by Elisabeth and I enjoyed her writing. Well written, one POV (FMC) Storyline: I like books with strong FMC and in this you get to see the FMC become one. You get to follow Ayla. A outcast in her own pack for not being 100% wolf, get rejected from what should have been her mate, witnesses her whole family get killed and get kidnapped by the alpha from the lost pack. She has to get stronger to survive she becomes more and more a really strong FMC that I love and the characters development is greatly written and even though it’s only the first of 4 books I believe this story is going to be really fun to read! This is a fantasy story mainly, 2 spicy scenes.

I want to express my heartiest thanks to the author for gifting me my very own physical copy in exchange for an honest review! All thoughts and opinions expressed below belong entirely to me. It has been maybe a million years give or take since I last read a book in one sitting. Like this almost NEVER happens what with busy teacher/toddler mom life but this book was very HIGHLY addictive, I seriously couldn’t put it down!! I’ll begin with how much I admired the heroine. Ayla Beros is extremely resilient in the face of endless foes and fears. Growing up a hated outcast in her family and despised by everyone from all the Zodiac wolf packs (save for her awesome bestie Mira and big bro Wesley), my heart both ached nonstop after experiencing this girl’s trauma, as well as rejoiced as she begins to find herself throughout the narrative. I’ve not yet read a paranormal romance with the rejected mate trope and I find I’m super into it! I immediately obsessed over Kaden Shaw (alpha of the lost and widely hated pack), the community he leads, and the piping hot chemistry between him and Ayla. I was so excited to find that this book is a true adult fantasy romance with tons of sexual tension and spice! I cannot express how much I need the next book and have no clue how I shall survive until then!!

I'll have to post more later. Right now, I need to go find book 2.

I inhaled this book. Is that what people say when they sit down and suddenly they’re done with the book? Well, it isn’t exactly what happened to me but I finished it in four days. FOUR! It usually takes me ten, but forcing myself to concentrate on other reads or to sleep was difficult, especially once I got to the point where the main character and the love interest were drawing closer. Moon Touched follows Ayla, a half-human-half werewolf young woman of the Cancer pack. She’s always lived her life as an outcast within her own pack, too much of a human to be a true wolf. Her own father treats her like a waste of space. Unwanted by nearly anyone in her pack, she dreams of the Convergence, where all the Zodiac packs reunite to bless the newborns, to have those who come of age turn for the first time, and for the wolves to find their mates. Once she gets her wolf and finds her mate, she can hope for a better life. But her mate rejects her, and bloodshed ensues, bringing the end of the Cancer pack. Ayla runs for her life and is found by the Ophiuchus pack, and strikes a deal with its alpha, Kaden, to get revenge on the Leo pack. So I have a theory, and I would love it if this theory is confirmed because when Ayla and Kaden breathe the same air, my heart does a little whoop. I’m relatively new to shifter romances, but I’ve read several already and this is the first time I read the rejected mate trope, which by speaking to a friend and a quick Google research, seems to be a pretty big trope in the genre. The concept was very intriguing, though I hope with all my heart that this bond definitely breaks between Ayla and her mate Jordan, not only because my shipper heart was sold on Kaden, but also because Jordan is a villain, and I’ll call him like that to keep this clean. I loved the Ophiuchus pack and how they gradually embraced Ayla as one of their own. One of my favorite characters was Stella, Kaden’s sister, who immediately shows Ayla kindness. It seems such a small thing to be kind and hospitable, but when you see how Ayla was treated by the Cancer pack and the other Zodiac wolves in general, it’s a huge deal. It was beautiful. And I loved how Kaden, even with his sometimes aloof ways, believed in her potential from the start. I’m very much looking forward to the sequel because that ending…ahhh, I can’t say anything. But this book was so good! Fans of paranormal romance, especially werewolves, will definitely love this one!

Love it so muc!!
