i was a bit confused until about halfway through; there were just too many plot points and i couldn't figure out the main objective. then, i was enjoying it for what it was - a big existencial crisis. however, that ending??? i wish she'd stuck to her guns and made Lou reject the treatment. 
i think some things just aren't explained the way they should have been. i want more from this.
but overall i did enjoy this read for its weird aspect so...

What a rich and well structured and thought out book. An absolute must read for anyone working, living with or even knowing so called "neuro-atypical" people - i.e everyone. It gets under your skin helping to see things from the other side and doesn't shy from asking tough questions on what is normal, what is typical, what is acceptable and most importantly, what is ethical and desirable.
