Okay, so this wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. This won’t be for everyone and I think we all know that. I went in with an open mind and while the romance wasn’t the worst part for me I think my issues were with the characters. Especially the FMC. I honestly just don’t think she worked for Will and Beckett. I also think there was too much added to the book. I don’t know if that was because the first two books were so long so Elle thought this one needed that too, I’m not sure but there was too much here. Going from her school, to her adoption, her sorority, then her relationship with Will and Beck. And that was just with her and not the side plots with the guys. Romance wise it was okay, but my lack of investment with Charlie negatively impacted it a bit. But Will and Beckett made up for it like I knew they would. What I can say is that the build up for Blake Logan was insane and if I don’t her books and the rest of an actual second gen of the other kids soon I will go crazy.

Okay, so this wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. This won’t be for everyone and I think we all know that. I went in with an open mind and while the romance wasn’t the worst part for me I think my issues were with the characters. Especially the FMC. I honestly just don’t think she worked for Will and Beckett. I also think there was too much added to the book. I don’t know if that was because the first two books were so long so Elle thought this one needed that too, I’m not sure but there was too much here. Going from her school, to her adoption, her sorority, then her relationship with Will and Beck. And that was just with her and not the side plots with the guys. I wish there had been a little more focus on the Korean aspect. This feels like it's stopping in the middle

I'm angry like while I  was reading, I had such a visceral anger that made me talk to myself in my room, arguing why I was mad about.

I feel like, I don't think it was intentional, the author had a favorite, like she always have in all these series and it shows. 

Charlie was the most developed and had an interesting arc. Beckett was developed and had an interesting arc too. Will had an interesting arc but had almost no development until the end which made the whole thing kinda bad. 

I'm no writer, and I  know it must be hard to develop 3 different characters but I think you can notice how unbalanced the final product was when it comes to built a well-formed, balanced throuple/thriad(?).

Like I said before, I love Charlie and you could see how she was drawn to both of them together and individually, but when it comes to the end of it, I feel like the author chose Beckett and her as the main couple, eventhough -and I counted Will is the one with 13 chapters and Beckett 12. Beckett was the one who had the most intimate and emotional scenes with Charlie, I know it was part of his development finding intimacy after Sharon, but they also presented Will with his struggles of not knowing what he wanted for his future and not really having a supporting system, which was a lost opportunity to show Beck and Charlie being that for him. But it is also the fact that Beckett had the 2 most steamy one on one scenes, but Will had none one of one scenes just a telling that she had like how is that comparable? that the relationship is balanced, does Will even know that Charlie has a tasted for fast cars??? Like I'm supposed to assume they had intimate and personal convos like it was shown between Beck and Charlie and then they catch up with Will? Which basically was the last chapter? 

I'm truly enraged. That is kinda funny, but I  had some expectations, and they came and bit me in the butt i guess.

I loved Charlie, I loved Beckett and I loved Will, like together in their steam scenes you can see the connection and how they worked together, you can tell that Elle has been holding off those threesomes scenes for quite some time. I just wished that the author took the time she gave to the fanfic, which sacrificed a lot of pages, to build up this throuple in a way that felt balanced and coherent overall, like c'mon  I had Beck punching Will bc HE hurt HIM, bro let's talk about platonic romance between those two and their love for her. 

I can understand that maybe Will needed a solo storyline were he built himself to be ready to be part of the relationship but bro I needed to see how he lil by lil he fell for Charlie too, he was the first one who said it and it felt so out of field bc it was like 10 or 11 chapters without his pov, which is why I believe this book would have benefit from changing povs  between chapters. I'm just disappointed bc I wanted more from Will and the three of them being a balance throuple honestly.
