This whole series is great, and this is the first that takes a very different path as far as the characters relationship development.

The beginning of the book was so good lots of tension and longing and wanting and then it just kept going and going. I just wanted Violet and Henrik to be together.

Overall, fun and interesting but not entirely memorable, still they are great characters and I want all the happiness for them.

This book was quite good. But to me, it was my least favourite.

I loved how we focused on the magic/ spell linked to the town. And how we got a little bit more answers.

The pacing and the writing style still as good if not better than the first books.

The thing is, it’s still a paranormal romance series lol. We’ve started with a lot of tensions between the two MCs and I was like oh this is going to be good.

Then we’ve lost track of their story and Ive almost lost interest about them. I wasn’t invested in their story with so much going on about the town and the magic.

Also, Henrik was a pure cinnamon roll and I loved him so much but I can’t say that Violet is a new favourite of mine lol. She frustrated me too much during this novel. So I was like stop whining and do stuff and stop being judgmental about my girls. I mean I love the previous girls and let’s say that it didn’t click at first so yeah I ended up appreciating Violet a bit less haha

Anyway, losing track of the two love birds’  tension, made me click less with their chemistry on top of the fact that the spice was too vanilla for me and less kinky than what we’ve had previously so I was like « ugh let’s read this and move on ». The spice not my favourite but still wanted to protect Henrik at all cost. However, the MCs being virgins was chefkiss
