Body Shocks is a collection of short stories by various authors revolving around the topic of body horror. Body horror is one of my favorite subgrenres of horror so I was looking forward to reading this collection, even though anthologies are usually not my thing as I find most contain more misses than hits. This collection was a welcome surprise as nearly every entry was a hit for me. Just a very consistently enjoyable and quality collection, the editor did a fantastic job of choosing the stories. Out of the 29 stories in this book, my favorites were 'Painlessness' by Kirstyn McDermott, 'Atwater' by Cody Goodfellow, 'Elegy for a Suicide' by Caitlin R. Kiernan, and 'Fabulous Beasts' by Priya Sharma.
