I enjoyed this mystery, I liked how everything came together in the end and everyone kind of got what they deserved. I agree with other reviews that there were a lot of characters and I think some of them could have been cut out but I still liked how intricate everything was. I feel like that’s how it is with actual famous people where everyone has connections to everyone else. Whether they’re good or bad. One of my issues with the book is that Jackson managed to survive that concoction of drugs and bottle of whiskey that he ingested. I was surprised at how dark this book got and how willing the characters were to keep their jobs or terrible secrets. This is a book that really ties everything up in a neat little bow. The bad characters died or went to jail and the ones out for revenge got what they wanted. I did find it difficult to follow at times but other than that I really liked it.

This book is a hot mess, from start to finish. I don’t even know where to start…so I’ll just dive in and hope I make sense. 
	I’ll start with the characters. I felt like they’re not well-developed enough to give the reader any clue as to why they’re where they are and why they’re the way they are. Most of the major players are just massive jerks, but there isn’t much of an explanation as to why. With the exception of Jess and Nikki, they’re horrible people. It’s hard to like a book with terrible characters. 
	This book pretends to be written chronologically, but it’s really not, and it drove me nuts. I hate back-and-forth timelines, and this one was a prime example of why. A chapter will start on one timeline, but there’s so much back-digging, it was hard to determine what the hell was really happening. Add that to the terrible characters, and this book became a serious struggle to finish. I just wanted to get to the end to figure out how it was going to play itself out, but even that was seriously disappointing. It wasn’t a satisfying ending at all, except (spoiler alert) half the terrible people ended up dead. 
	By the time I finished, the only thing I found redeeming was that it was over.

This book was so irritating to me? There were SO MANY characters to keep track of and none of them were fun to read about. This wasn't for me, sorry.
