this was EVERYTHING. a little more than halfway through i already able to guess the culprits but it's still very fun and keeping-me-in-my-toes mystery-thriller; because even though we knew who they're we didn't know their motives. don't get me start on rachel watts and james mycroft, they are so!!! my new beloveds! personal but this is a book that i wish i discovered when i was younger, giving me sense of longing and nostalgia, the way marchetta's books do to me. just in love with every characters <3

i was hooked really, the story was just so interesting!
the little romance between them is so cute as well, even though it might only be a few pages, but i was totally smiling when i read the book!
in the end when they solve the crime, i kind of already predicted who did it, because the author did do a great job at giving little hints, so the ending wasn't really a surprise to me:/

overall i enjoyed it very much, certainly going to pick up the second book soon!

C'était très bien, par contre j'ai deviné l'identité du coupable au moment où il est apparu dans l'histoire. Ça ne change pas le fait que j'ai pris beaucoup de plaisir en lisant ce roman. J'aime beaucoup Rachel, c'est un personnage sympathique et agréable à suivre, mais j'ai un faible pour Mycroft. ♥ Gus et Mai étaient sympas aussi, j'aimerais beaucoup avoir plus d'infos à leur propos. :)
