i made a promise to myself this year: to try as many subgenres as it struck my fancy and here I am. This was a lot of fun, my brain picturing Rhett as a cross between Josh Halloway and Luke Perry included

this was mid. tbh he’s the least interesting of all the men in his family, so i will be reading the other books because i liked the other cowboys more than him. HOWEVER the subplot with her ex is absolutely insane, like what? the? fuck??

I read it in a day, that’s all you need to know. I loved the found family and normal family aspect. I love Chestnut Springs already. Can’t wait for more.

This romance was super cliché. Too much sexual scenes and few actual character development. It was fun, but nothing special.
this was my first ever audible book!!! and first ever cowboy romance and oh my god i love summer. i love rhett I LOVE CHESNUT SPRINGS!!! they’re all so so cute:( and i love summer and how cute her and rhett were and rhett was a smoke show!!!
3/5 Really cute and funny, but slightly boring. I like the heroine, and the hero, although he had a few moments I didn't liked. But a the end, he finally won my appreciation. okay i wasn’t expecting this first book to be SO AMAZING! TRULY INSANE!!! also wasn't expecting for rhett to be such a cutie pie esp when he’s with summer!! elsie silver's previous series gold rush ranch was great but she STEPPED IT UP WITH THIS ONE!! like i am pleasantly surprised
omg rhett is a big ol’sweetie under his grumpy exterior especially his little gestures towards summer like opening the door for her and saving the last chicken wing for her (the foodie in me fell in love) !! I squealed!! he’s such an acts of service guy AND HES SO DOWN BAD FOR SUMMER LIKE HES LOCKED IN AND I LOVE THAT

i started this book bored to death and not able to get into the plot at all, wasn’t even expecting to like it. 5 chapters later i was HOOKED. what kind of crack was in this ?!? & can we please talk about how cool summer is 🤌 i LOVED her character !!! i honestly cannot wait to start Cade’s book (he’s so hot idc if he’s rude he can talk to me as rudely as he wants and id still kiss the ground he walks on bas khalas.)
rhett. F*CKIN' RHETT. okay, for starters, i'm so upset it took me this long to start this series because now i'm completely hooked. i read the last like 350 pages in one sitting because i just couldn't put my kindle down. i love rhett so much & can't wait to meet everyone else in their own books. i'm especially excited for cade's book because luke??? adorable. i loved the added plot of summer's past with rob. i think we're all in agreement that rob sucks. i really hope that summer & winter can work things out but i do understand winter needing space. i really really love rhett. when he moved her so that he was on the traffic side while walking... that's when i fell in love because my boyfriend does that constantly. i'm never allowed to walk on the side that cars are even in parking lots. i don't know if any of the other mmc's will top rhett but i'm excited to find out. 😏

2.5 honestly when life is just exhausting and stressful, spicy romance books with hot cowboys can be the perfect way to escape it all its so easy, the tropes are predictable, and i had fun
This book has in fact convinced me that I like a cowboy romance and that I do like men with long hair. Also the DOCTOR twist was crazy. I believe in love
