no tension till 50% of the book BYE

Loved how we were introduced to both characters in the first chapter and how they instantly had a connection, but what I loved more was the fact that they chose to be friends first and then they grew from there. Although skylar annoyed me sometimes I understand she only acted certain ways because of how she was treated in the past but I love how she was able to heal from this.

So so cute loved the love story the soul mate vibes and the self learning the love towards the kids Emmy and Ollie especially the bonding between Skyler and Ollie also loved the power woman Sky became also some things just had me laughing out loud

Elsie and the men that you write!! š„µ

Loved, Smutty, Sweet, annoyed a little bit by something in the 3rd act you will know it when you see it!

Honestly, I fell in love with this series almost as quickly as the protagonists of Rose Hill. I don't really know what exactly it is, but the way Elsie Silver writes her characters and the full immersion in a found family kind of feeling hits the absolute right spot for me if I need a romance break. You pretty much know what you're getting, once you read one of her books, but to me that's a sign of quality in this genre, so I'm totally fine with it.
Her female main characters are funny, witty and are able to banter with their male counterparts and it's always a lot of fun watching them navigate the rough waters of driving each other insane while being completely smitten already and still fighting it.
These books just give me such a home-y feeling, I do enjoy reading them so much and might look over smaller flaws, just because they are so enjoyable, that I usually read them in one or two sittings, tops.
If you are on the hunt for a cosy, country romance with slightly exaggerated characters, but oh so much love to give and their families on top? These might just be perfect for you.

Just like the first book of the series: really liked reading it! Wasnt so keen on the starlet-story because it felt unauthentic at some points.. but i really liked Wes š„

Elsie Silver strikes again!
Did i read it in one sitting? yes
Did i love it? also yes

West just upped the game for all men

Absolutely obsessed would be an understatement when it comes to this book. Elsie never fails to absolutely hit it out of the park and West and Skylar are a favorite for me now. While I think I love some of the books from the Chestnut Springs series more they are up there in the race for me. But this book gave me so much more for me than the first one did. Iām sure they had a lot of the same things but how this one played out was just so much better. From their relationship to the found family to the building for the next book. And Westās two kids too literally stole the show at point. Oh, but I also have to give a spotlight to Cherry who was the dark horse of this book that made me laugh to make me want to cry. Because if you had told me before I read this book that I would want to cry when it came to photosynthesis and a parrot I would have laughed in your face, but the power of Elsie Silver showed me that I would do I guess she has the last laugh at the end of the day.

Where do I even begin with THIS BOOK! Ahhh! I can say that I devoured Wild Eyes! I mean⦠I couldnāt read this book fast enough but I also didnāt want the story to end. I am a die hard fan for anything Elsie Silver and let me tell you, I ran when this book came out! Just take my money!
This story follows Skylar and Weston, and goshhh they are scrumptious! Yes I said itā¦scrumptious! Skylar is a famous country singer and looking for a place to escape the reality of being famous. Just to find peace, and she finds it in Rose Hill. But the last thing she expects is Weston.
Though her life is miles away from Rose Hill, she might have just found her place in this small town with a little boy, a little girl, and their father. Weston is a single dad but man does he love his kids. I adored his relationship with his littles and oh boy, did they have me laughing.
Weston and Skylar are two souls longing to be truly loved, and they might have just found in each other. Their chemistry is off the charts and when I say, drool⦠I mean I melted over these too. Whip the drool off my chin and fan the blush from my cheeks, delish! Nobody knows how to write smutty, yummy, delicious scenes like Elsie Silver.
This is a must read and a wonderful book! I canāt wait to read more in this series and from this author. Weston will always have a piece of my heart!

Okay this was cute. I canāt lie⦠Iām a sucker for the cliche trope of famous city girl meets country boy. And add a single dad into the mix⦠hell. Yes.
