The Special Ones

To the outside world, they are simply the Special Ones - four virtuous teenagers whose perfect lives are broadcast online to eager followers. And calm, lovely Esther is the most virtuous of them all. But inside, she is far from calm. She's terrified. Their online followers have no idea that the Special Ones are kept in captivity by a dangerous man controlling their every move. He preaches that they are safe from toxic modern life, safe from a meaningless existence. But they are never safe from him. Esther knows that if she doesn't remain Special, he will simply discard her - like he's done with the others. But she can't keep up the performance forever. Even if she can find a way to escape, what will happen to the other Special Ones? And can she ever be free of him?
