*I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review* This book was the perfect begining to my christmas readings season! I'm not much of a fan of contemporary romance, but I got so caught up in the story and the characters, I wouldn't rest until I finished it. Even though it's the seventh book in the series, and I haven't read any of the previous, each one is focused on a different couple, so they can perfectly be read separately. What's common on this series is the place where the stories take place: Eternity Springs. It's the perfect small town where we all would like to live but that, unfortunately, is ficticious... In Eternity Springs there's a real sense of community and, although everyone knows everything about everybody, no one interfers in other people's lives unless it's for a good cause. It's in Eternity Springs that Lucca and Hope meet. They both suffered tragedy and, little by little, they get closer and, what starts as a strong friendship between two people who understand what the other is going through, and help and support each other, eventually becomes a great love. I liked Lucca and Hope as protagonists and I liked the gradual way they fell in love and learned to deal with their ghosts and to move on with their lives. Besides the protagonist couple there is also a very funny cast of secundary characters, especially Lucca's mother and siblings. I particularly liked Gabi and was happy to know that the next book will be her story. Poor Gabi, she really deserves her happy ending! The copy I read had a few typos and switched names, but since it was an advanced reading copy, I suppose they were corrected in the final version.
