A Silent Night is a beautiful tale of sacrifice, self-belief and love set during the Christmas in the fictional city of Penumbra. It follows Charlie as he meets Vasco and Alexandra and learns that there is more to live than just surviving.

I loved all three characters; the self-confident Alexandra, Vasco who has a heart of gold and Charlie who is just doing what he can to provide for his family. The story's darker elements are wrapped in warmth and love and the story leaves you feeling full of hope and holiday spirit.

This novella is perfect for curling up with by the fire on a winter's afternoon - I hope you fall in love with Charlie and Vasco just as I did.
