Did every book lover, book nerd and book obsessed joke and statement match with me? --ABSOLUTELY! 

This book is entertaining, funny, makes your heart flutter and will maybe make you shed a few tears for Kinsley & Josh (like I did). Everything was relatable to the maximum extent and I was hooked from the first page itself! Totally enjoyed reading & the thing I loved the most were the rules. 

Lord knows how much we book lovers talk about books once the topic starts and when there's a movie VS book debate, all hell breaks loose! Nobody can stop us and that's the case with Kinsley too. Being an introvert and book loving nerd she doesn't have the best experience in relationships. With her upcoming birthday she decides to get into the dating scene again by joining online dating sites. Enter Josh-- her brother's bestfriend, a guy who's funny, charming and handsome. Josh has had a crush on Kinsley for a long time and so decides to help and give her tips in the dating department in the hope that maybe his feelings will go away. But well, we all know that's not how it works, right? Ofcourse I'm right. 

The story continues with weird but funny grandparents, amazing friends, tons of wine, passionate romantic scenes and a big rock stuck in the way of a happy relationship. 

PS: It's mandatory for every book nerd to compare every real man to a fictional one.

What I expected on Saturday morning: Books. What I got on Saturday morning: my ex-best friend and first crush in front of me. Let it be known that I, Holley Stuart, do not give a single rat's behind about pro baseball's star pitcher Sebastian Stone. I definitely don & apos;t care that he's standing in my bookstore. Nor do I care that he seems to have forgotten about the last time we saw each other--senior prom, when he both humiliated me and broke my heart, albeit unknowingly. Now, he needs a date to his sister's wedding. Don & apos;t ask me how I ended up being it, because I have no idea. But that's the least of my problems. His grandfather is adamant we & apos;re dating, and Seb isn & apos;t in a hurry to convince him otherwise, so I have no choice but to go along with it. The problem? The only thing I & apos;ve ever faked is ... well, you know. I & apos;ve definitely never faked my feelings for someone. And judging by the way I feel whenever Seb looks at me, it doesn & apos;t look like I & apos;m starting now ...

I by far liked Sebastian the most, he’s a really sweet chap that made a stupid mistake during prom (which I honestly find kinda funny) and who tries his best fixing his “relationship” with Holley (there isn’t a lot of chemistry between them imo). The conflict within the romance was really a little vague, and while I get that being “dumped” like that during prom is really, deeply hurtful, Holley also kinda acts like a childish brat that never grew up whenever interacting with Sebastian, to the point it got frustrating. 

I honestly would’ve liked the cliche romance tropes more if Holley weren’t such an obnoxious brat about it. Nevertheless, this was a nice enough romance story that I git to discover for free and as such I’m not too mad about my time spend on it. I amused myself with it and that’s really all that matters with stories, right? So, if you just want to read a short romance story about a bookworm who never really got to the adulting stage and the favourite romance cliches: this is one for you
