Very catching! Had me in a grip! Reminded me of Kevin Kwans Books, but more dark!

Three words. Rich. People. Mess. A great casual read that pulled me in from chapter 1. It was so messy I forgot that the premise of the book was that a body washes up! The blurb makes that plot point seem more central when it really doesn't come up until the last 4th of the book. The title is so apt!

ok this book was kinda like fire little eveywhere on drugs. their are no likeable characters like all at all. but its apart of the charm you know? big on rich people problems not actually important stuff. and the way its written is so good every character at some point has a POV and it crazy to see into their minds HIGHTY REC!!

Fire Island is the home of many types of people during the summer. Salcombe is where the ultra-rich New Yorkers like to hang out. And keep lots of secrets. And do terrible things. 

But it's a typical summer until a body turns up on the beach; what happened? And will anything ever be the same?

This book is a fantastic escapist read. However, if you don't like unlikeable characters (and no one is likable here), steer clear.
