This is definitely one of the weirder things I have read. 

The dudes a 3000+ yr old mummy and is waltzing around Victorian England, seeing the sights and getting in fights as you do. Then, OH NO!, a murder occurs and the freedom of the woman he loves is at steak and her dads a pompus prick, and the mummy's dad (another 3000+ yr old mummy) is also a jerk and damnit! Imhotep and Lillian just want to love each other. 

So, yeah. A murder in Victorian England with a mummy and a professor's daughter falling in love. 

So weird. But so Great....
