I can't tell if I like Jack or Death more omfg.
Just when I thought things couldn’t get shittier, it got way fucked up. All those betrayals and secrets. At one point I threw my poor phone away, deadass. Also PLS don’t force her Aric or I’ll hate you. Also that bitch, you’re going to save someone who deadass killed your mother ??? Bro just when I started liking the damn main character. And Matthew, I loved him but fuck him too. Bottom line, if first book made me love all of them I hate them now. So excited for the third book.

Okay. This installment is much more tropey and eye roll inducing but still sooo addictive. While there are so many elements of this series that are just...too much the overall storyline is so imaginative and just so good! The character interactions can be ridiculous but engrossing and I always need to know what’s coming next, because even if I feel I might know I have caught on that Cole always manages to surprise me with the directions she takes things. For instance, she will introduce you to a super familiar plot or trope and then manage to play it out so interestingly! I do wish here were less possessive, control freak, entitled men in the story, but I wish that for my everyday life. A part of my has a feeling that this trilogy might end in a really satisfying way in that specific front but we will see. At this point I just need to know what happens.

I can't believe my take off this year of finishing books! It's nice to get back into an old habit! * this book was 10x better than the first! I mean the plot was just outstanding, there was something to look forward to at every curve. The ending...I have no words I don't know to to woot for anymore!!! * Okay I know jack is sexy but let me tell you death is just ...wowza talk about a total cliffhanger on that one! Can I just paint him like one of my French boys....okay I don't have French boys but you get my drift! * definitely recommend if you are into betrayal, romance, and a twist of darkness!!!!
