I picked this up as an Amazon Kindle Owner's Lending Library title. I was hoping for something more interesting and creative than a modern-day retelling of Little Red Riding Hood. I do suppose in the end that this version is a bit more apropos for youth than the more brutal tellings from the 17th Century.
