I think I just need to stop reading short romance books. 200 pages never feels like a good amount of time to get to know characters, them to meet, form an attraction, and the professing ‘I love you’s by the end. I didn’t like Diana, the heroine, at all. It felt like she was a modern woman dropped into regency London. The hero was fine. As the book is so short you can’t learn much about the characters’ personalities. Considering it’s called One Night for Seduction, there isn’t a lot of seducing. The ending was a bit too rushed to me. Basically, I need to not read short romance books unless the couple already have a history or it’s a smutty read.
