I was super eager to dive back into the Roadies series, a spicy adult contemporary romance series where each book focuses on one member of the Jailbirds, a worldwide famous rockband (of hotties :P). I don't know how Erika does it, but each new sequel becomes my new favourite of the series! I thought couldn't love anyone more than Damian, and then Thomas and now Michael!

Michael and Faith are complete opposites and yet, fate brings them together at prison infirmary for young offenders where Faith works as a nurse. That's also when we meet Levi, another great new character addition to the series. Michael and Faith establish a bond through the need to help Levi, who has suffered a lot through his life. I love the found family trope! It doesn't matter how different each person is, we witness how a humane connection can bring out the best in people. The romance is a slow burn at first, giving us a thrilling build-up to the peak! ;)

Each book can be read as a standlone so I recommend it for those looking for a spicy romance with amazing characters that you end up growing fond of!

Thanks to Erika Vanzin I’ve discovered that I looove me a good rockstar romance 👀 I first read Backstage by Erika last year and oh my gosh, I adored it. Paparazzi was also fantastic (and probably my favorite!) and then I recently had the pleasure of reading Faith! Faith features probably the most interesting couple pairing of the series so far…Michael (band member), the most promiscuous member of the Jailbirds, finds himself captivated by Faith, a woman who has just found a bit of freedom apart from her cult upbringing. And the character arcs in this story…just so so good!

While each book can be read independently, I do recommend reading them in sequential order (Backstage, Paparazzi, Faith) because you will be spoiled for the previous books if you pick up mid series.

I loved this one. It took a minute to get into it because Faith is a very difficult character to adjust to. But after a little I loved her so. Each boy has their own personality and stands out. Michael’s story was amazing and touching. I cannot wait for more in the series. 

	This genre has pulled me in and kept me. Erika does an amazing job building up the romance and putting together stories that involve so much character development.

Faith definitely showed that, going from somewhat a sheltered girl, focused on her faith to exploring this new world that takes her on an amazing ride.

I really enjoyed the dynamic between the characters. Especially seeing the jailbirds all come together and take part of this new journey. The romance was a bit slow but it paid off as the story unraveled. Can’t wait for the next book!

Erika Vanzin never disappoints! I was eagerly awaiting FAITH because Michael is one of my favorite Jailbird members and I knew his story had great potential. I mean, who doesn’t love a good “womanizer falls head over heels” story? I certainly adore them, and Michael’s turned out to have twists even I hadn’t anticipated! I loved getting to dive deeper into Michael’s mind and the trauma caused by his abusive family and his time in jail, and I also really loved the two new additions to the cast of characters, Faith and Levi!

Faith is Michael’s complete opposite, inexperienced and innocent. While I don’t want to say the cause for this because I found it really surprising, I will say that the dynamic worked perfectly! Michael, with his turbulent past and his rockstar lifestyle, was the perfect person to help Faith open up to the world, and I loved how ardently he fought to have her to gain confidence and independence! On the other side, Faith is the perfect person to help Michael overcome his demons and insecurities. Theirs is a sweet slow burn, but fear not! The spice was there and it was glorious! Along with Levi, these three really created a perfect found family dynamic that fit snugly within the Jailbirds narrative. When I tell you I cried happy tears at the end of the book, I’m not kidding! This story was that touching, perfectly paced with fun, heartbreak and wholesomeness throughout.

And now, I’m even more excited for the next chapters in the Roadies series! With all the teasing we got for potential Evan and Simon storylines, I can’t wait to see what comes next.

My feelings are all over the place after finishing this book. I think I may have found a new favorite, which is saying something. The Jailbirds have something magical about them, and each time I read a book about a different member of the band, I fall in love. This time, it was Michael’s turn, and his story had so many of the elements that I love in a romance! The bad boy meets good girl trope, the close proximity, and above all the found family element--which has always been really strong in this series given the close bond within the band and everything they’ve gone through together—but that was now even stronger!

The story sees Jailbirds guitarist and notorious womanizer Michael cross paths with sweet, inexperienced Faith in no other place than the juvie facility in which he and the others first met. She recently began working there as a nurse, and the two meet thanks to an unhappy circumstance that brings young Levi into the nurse’s office. Flashfoward so I don’t spoil, Michael finds himself housing both Levi and Faith in his new apartment. Faith and Michael couldn’t be more different, but as they figure out how to be good parent figures for a fourteen year old boy, they grow closer and closer.

As I already mentioned above, this could very well be my favorite of the series. Nothing against Damian and Thomas because each guy in the band is absolutely fantastic—even their manager!—but the moment the found family trope barged into the story, my heart was swept off its feet. This time I wasn’t binging primarily for the romance, but the whole storyline with Levi, too! He’s such an amazing character and is impossible not to love. I loved the family dynamic that came to be between him, Michael and Faith, to the point that I was in tears by the end of the book. So many emotions! It was perfect.

I can’t wait for Simon’s book now. We got to know him more in this book, and among the guys he seems exactly my type.
