✨Small Spoilers Ahead✨

I really expected not to enjoy 𝚂𝚑𝚊𝚏𝚝 by Krista Gold, but it was actually the opposite. I usually don’t really like steamy romances, but this was exceptionally good for a steamy novella. With saying that there were lots of steamy (and detailed) scenes. 
The book was exceptionally well written and it was a very easy read. It's also written in first person, but from both perspectives and I was constantly smiling. 
What I usually hate about steamy books is that the girl has no personality, no self-respect and is never comfortable in their own body (and has to have a guy show her that she’s perfect). Also the guys are usually asses (or maybe I just read the wrong books).
But this book showed me that you can have a steamy romance with nice people. And I loved Allies personality! She had many opportunities to speak her mind and she always did: “don’t assume every woman is going to fall at your feet just because you look the way you do. There’s a fine line between confidence and arrogance” (she also had a big one at the end).
Allie always acted in a way that wasn’t unrealistic at all and I also liked when they admitted that it was just lust (at first). And now to the most important thing for me: the sexual tension (it really is). I loved it in this book! They didn't just immediately start making out. There was lots of sexual tension built, before they shared their first kiss. Then they had their little enemy moment "I can’t decide whether I want to slap him or fuck him." Loved it! 
When they did do it, they were actually cautious (👏👏). Although I have one negative thing … I don’t know why but I really don’t like it when people say “You’re mine”. For some reason I just always cringe at those moments. It’s just a personal thing I didn’t really like (same for the detailed steamy scenes). 
And now coming to the end … there was a cliffhanger. And for the first time I actually liked a cliffhanger! 
This novella is also a prequel to another book that is currently in the writing! So if you want more of Nate and Allie (like me), you‘ll soon be getting more!
