Broken Prince A Novel
Reviews

hey what

capítulos e mais capítulos só pra falar da ella perdoando o reed???? só literalmente no último capítulo que acontece alguma coisa emocionante

i read this immediately after finishing paper princess with some good feelings and quite a high expectation with great curiosity of what will be the aftermath after THAT ending. nevertheless as i keep on reading i realized that wow this is not the super fun hot mess that is paper princess but some bad imitation of it's supposed sequel. i am tired so i won't rant too long but you know how i wanted to considering my wasted hours so here goes; 1. repetitive plots and dragging like hell 2. everyone is dumb. easton included 3. pretentiously dramatic 4. no character development whatsoever. even ella. she regressed so much in this book like wtf 5. that ending ROFL. literally so yeah i am peacing out of this series unless i am too bored and 'adventurous' enough to read the next one

So good I could not put it down! Can't wait for book three!

I just don't have the time to write this review 'cause I don't want to spend my time writing it when I could be reading the next book. And believe me, the cliff-hanger is a killer. RTC

This series is breaking me. See what I did there? Ha...ha. I'm too clever for my own good. For real though. If the authors' goal was to make you want to sob, throw the book, immediately pick up said book, apologize and continue reading like nothing happened, then by god, they succeeded. Because this leaving me a serious mess. THE CLIFF HANGERS HAVE TO STOP. Sorry, I had to get that out. These authors really know how to pull on your heart and make you immediately hunt down the next one so you can keep up with the Royals. Alright, I'll stop wallowing and get into the review. The book picks up immediately after the first one so I can't say a lot about the plot without giving it away. We got the dual POVs of Reed and Ella. I have to say, I enjoyed Reed's POV. It was interesting to see how his mind works and what he was thinking. Because every so often, Ella misinterprets what he said or his facial expression. He clearly loves Ella more than anything and it was so amazing to see that. Ella, on the other hand, annoyed me for 3/4 of the book. Yes, I understand that Reed did something he was not proud of and he should have told her sooner. But she wallowed and punished him for sooooooo long. It got to be irritating because I knew damn well what was going to happen but it got dragged out. I had to wait and wait and wait. I was just not pleased. Was I this wallow-ey as a teenager or something? Because if I was, I am so sorry about it. Makes me feel lucky that I'm not that young anymore. The ending really saved the book from being given 3 stars due to Ella's whiny attitude. I can't even form enough coherent words to talk about that ending. I just hope that Ella and Reed can survive it. I am rooting for them and their love, because they both deserve to be happy.

OH. MY GOD. SERIOUSLY?

Holy Balls, Batman! This is better than a soap opera!!! I couldn't put this book down and as I fall asleep at my desk today it will be worth it. ... So worth it. I should have savored ...but I devoured this book. The cliffhanger ... I had a feeling. A niggle ... It's a great plot twist! Now I have to wait until October to read the last installment.... Shucks! You love drama ... This book is for you. This book is balls deep with drama. You don't like young adult ... Don't read this book even though these teenagers seem to be rather adult, imo.

This review was originally posted on Latte Nights Reviews. Broken Prince was all kinds of gripping and entertaining. I was hooked hooked hooked! The drama that starts to unfold was juicier than PP. You'd think we saw enough in the first book, but this second installment brings drama to a whole other level. And it's the kind of drama that you enjoy! Knowing how Paper Princess ended with that heart-wrenching cliffhanger, I couldn't wait to know how our girl Ella would survive. But this is Ella we are talking about and she is still as badass as before and even stronger. In this book, she proves she doesn't take bullshit from anyone. In BP, we get to go into Reed's mind, which I was so anticipating. He's so closed off to everyone and we barely know much about him. We get to see Reed being so vulnerable. He has feelings, you guys! I felt so much for him and I fell even harder for him. Obviously, Ella is pushing Reed away after what went down in PP. She doesn't trust him at all, but Reed being the ever-loving man he is, goes out of his way time and time again to prove to Ella he's still the same Reed. Ella isn't like these characters from other books where they forgive so quickly. Like, I get you love him but respect yourself and make him beg, you know? Well, Ella makes Reed work for it, and work for it he does. He's so head-over-heels in love with her and the reader will fall for Reed and for this relationship so hard! A lot of scenes had me swooning like I've never swooned before in my life! The whole cast from PP was even more present in this sequel, especially Easton! I love Reed, but Easton has my heart. I want him to have a happy ending! He really deserves it. He's such a great and loyal friend. Plus, he's so easy on the eyes ;) These motherf-ing cliffhangers! You'd think that Paper Princess cliffhanger was bad. Broken Prince's cliffhanger leaves you with a major WTF look on your face and needing Twisted Palace. We need answers!! Overall, Broken Prince is juicy, hot and scandalous! I received an eARC from the authors in exchange for an honest review. This review was originally posted on Latte Nights Reviews.

Surprisingly some characters really stood out and I couldn't help but love them. But then, as I'm finishing this book at 1 in the morning and the book decides to wrap up with not one, but TWO major soap opera-y jaw dropping cliches, I'm shocked to admit that it worked. I have to finish the series, I'm in too far now. While it's definitely not the most eloquently written, or strong plot and world wise, there's just something about it that keeps you hooked. In the same way shows like Gossip Girl and 90210 can keep your attention for just the right amount of time. So three stars for that, but I'm still overall not as impressed as I hoped I would be.

So good! So much drama, so much romance, so much humour. The drama, the intrigue, it's something you need in your life now!

this had a reed pov and idc abt reed (i know) but i still had fun. i'm tired today so i have nothing more to say but if you didn't see me live tweet this, well. (this series is so live-tweetable).

At what point I have read everything too quickly, I have stung with the story that now I need to know what will happen.

SO MUCH LOVE FOR THIS SERIES BUT OH MY GOD REED!!! AHHHHHH ANOTHER CLIFFHANGER MY HEART

*3.5 stars* lol the cliffhangers in this series are good

WHAT THE FUCK? WHAT THE HELL? I didn't expect that ending at all!!!!! I loved the relationship of Ella and Reed and how the brother seem closer than ever even with their father!!! And Callum knew everything before Ella sad anything? I didn't expect that

Lo único interesante de estos libros son los finales, sns. Y, siendo sincera, el de Broken Prince no me ha sorprendido en exceso porque era el que me esperaba para Paper Princess. Aun y todo, me leeré el tercero.

Holy shit, SO GOOD. I couldn’t put it down

I'm thinking 4.5 👌🏻

5 FABULOUS AWESTRUCK STARS! The Broken Prince by Erin Watt is literally everything I could hope for to follow up Paper Princess (the first book) and MORE. I mean there were a lot of variables presented in the first book and a lot of sh*t that went down right?! And yet Erin Watt managed to keep the second book interesting, set up even more sh*t that goes down, and literally have me salivating for more drama until the very last page which took the whole series in a direction I NEVER saw coming... skills and props! After reading Paper Princess and being left with the cliff hanger, I really didn't have high expectations because I knew it would be very challenging to keep up the hype to the second novel... and yet Watt far succeeded whatever I could have thought up and really brought a whole new level to this series. Not only are the bullies crueler, the fights bigger, but the whole drama itself has grown into this huge monster which is swallowing some of my favorite characters whole! The thing I admire most about this novel are the characters and their personalities. A lot of situations pop up in this book that cause authors wanting their characters to a) give up, or b) cheat... both of which I find kind of despicable within novels and very serious offenses on my no-no list. Yet the characters in this novel not only stick to their guns (sometimes facing off an entire school) but they also don't do dumb petty stuff found in other novels (although there are some incriminating circumstances). I like to actually like the characters I am reading about and Watt makes this possible by creating these characters who are definitely bad*ss but also have a softer side. Paper Princess definitely had some moments of comedic relief peppered throughout the novel and I am very glad to report that so does Broken Prince. Having these hints of laughter and moments really brightened this book up for me and broke up all of the serious issues presented. I really enjoyed finding out more about the Royal brothers and seeing their reactions to some of Ella's decisions. In the first book there was definitely a Royals v. Ella vibe going on and in this book that little battle breaks a part and several new teams form. What I would love to see happen with this series is a branch off series about each of the Royal brothers and their own personal struggles to find romance within their crazy lives. I have definitely fallen for more than one Royal and would like to see the crazy up close and in their POV. I don't know about you but I'm all for more Royals! ;) Overall though, this is a book that is going to keep you on your toes and constantly guessing what will happen next. I definitely had no idea where the author was going next but in each new direction she hit everything right on the money and managed to create a book equal to, if not better than, Paper Princess. So check out the newly released Broken Prince today!!!
