I cannot remember a single thing that happened. Just generally didn't enjoy it, was very boring

The trill thing about this shit is like, nobody is ever checking their phone. Strong argument that checking your phone is > killing animals on safari though.

I had a much better experience with Kilimanjaro than Farewell to Arms. Really.

*Read for class. It was fine, but I couldn't care less about the characters. The writing style was dry and heavy, I couldn't even pretend to enjoy it.

Soo. This collection of short stories was okay. My biggest reason for not liking it that much is the endings of each short story. You'd be reading, and you'd get to the end, and you felt like he forgot to even write one. It just felt so abrupt, and I feel like I missed the point of all his stories. Like, was there a meaning to each one? I felt like I read them for no reason, but I did like his style of writing. My favorite two short stories were the Snows of Kilimanjaro and The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber. Honorable mention to Fifty Grand, The Killers and The Gambler, The Nun, and the Radio. I felt like I wanted more from the stories, but still, a good read. Interesting to see how much Africa was on his mind...
