I won this book in a Goodreads Giveaway and I was thrilled. The description of the book had me hooked and I was really excited to start reading it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, for the most part, and found it hard to put down. The characters are what I can only imagine to be realistic in the circumstances that happen in the book. Every Last Lie keeps you guessing until the last sentence, and will keep you wondering what really happened every step of the way.

Once again Mary Kubica has blown me away. We follow Clara who seemed to have a good life, a loving husband, money, and two young children. But when Clara's husband dies in a car crash things start to fall apart. The crash was ruled an accident but when Clara's daughter who was also in the car crash starts talking about a bad man that was after her daddy.
This story alternates between Clara and her husband Nick before he dies.
The ending took me completely by surprise, i had so many theories going through my brain of who could have wanted Nick dead that i didn't even consider the possible ending.
This books is definitely either you love or you don't because of the ending, I loved it of course and applaud Mary for how she ended the book. I can't wait to read more of her books.

Ever since I read The Good Girl, I have been hooked on Mary Kubica. This book was absolutely amazing. Clara's husband Nick is killed in a car accident on the way home with their four year old daughter Maisie who miraculously is unharmed. The crash is ruled an accident for Nick going too fast but then Maisie starts having nightmares and talking about the bad mad coming after them. Tormented by grief Clara starts a desperate hunt to figure out who could have wanted Nick dead and finds out that Nick was not always completely honest with her. I loved this book from the very beginning, it was full of twists and great writing.
